Last month saw me working with old attitudes, thoughts and beliefs. I ended up looking at thoughts and beliefs that I had adopted as a child from both my family and society. I was reminded of this in a dream where I saw myself playing in a creek. I had removed all the large stones that would cause me to stub my toes (bigger issues equal big rocks) and was left with the uneven but semi-smooth surface of a well trodden path. Each of those remaining stones needed to be picked up and looked at to assess their validity in my life now as a mature adult. The myths from bygone eras in the form of attitudes, beliefs and thoughts needed to be looked at closely to assess whether they be kept or released. For instance, what does it mean to be a woman in this century and how do I choose to live my life that allows me to feel empowered, fulfilled, happy and joyful. Releasing unwanted baggage allows me to now move forward freely.
Have you taken the time to sit down and look at some of these old fashioned ideas you are holding onto? Do they still fit with how you wish to live your live as a mature adult now? Is it time to look at them? If so, you may want some direction. My FREE 5-day email course will give you some guidance. So tap on the following link 5 Day FREE email course and enjoy the journey.
